When I say I have been busy, I have been busy. It is crazy around here. It is couples like this that make the busy time worth it and makes me love what I do. Kellye and Drew were up for whatever so I made a suggestion and they were all for it. Even though it was hot they never complained. The pictures say it all.
This is our last wedding of the 4 wedding weekend. This couple started off at the hotel then to the church then back to the hotel. It was quite a trip back and forth. The reception got started a bit late but that didn’t seem to bother anyone because they still danced the night away. For a groom’s cake they had 4 huge dishes of dirt cake. We LOVE cake and it was awesome to get something different for a change!
This couple got married at the beautiful Clark Gardens in Weatherford. The wedding was followed by an outdoor reception in the heat of the day, but still turned out wonderfully. They planned and coordinated the wedding and everything flowed very smooth. There was even a frog waiting to turn into his own prince charming someday.
We LOVE it when couples take our advice. This couple saw each other before they walked down the aisle and spent some time alone. They did pictures outside even though it was 100+ degrees. They even brought props! Their limo broke down on the wa to the reception but that didn’t stop them from having a good time. Her dress train detached and the dress became a tea length.
This couple had their reception at Robert’s grandmas land. The reception was outside and it was over 100 degrees. This wedding kicked off a crazy day of 4 weddings for Sweet Memories Photography. The other 3 weddings will follow.
We did these bridals awhile back but had to wait for the wedding to end before posting. We did their wedding this weekend and it was fabulous. Of course now I have editing to do before I post the wedding pics but I thought I would share these now. Come back soon to see their wedding pictures.
This is one of te little guys in my life. I don’t often get them since I don’t advertise for them but are referrals. They are such a sweet family and this little guy lasted for all of 10 minutes and then he was done with the picture taking business.
This was the couple that changed their wedding date to have us. We met them at the Dallas Bridal Show. One of the things I suggested was that Raegan color her petticoat (the poofy thing that goes under the dress). Of course this couple rock and took my advice. It turned out fabulous. To top it off…it was purple (like Kansas State our alma mater). Take a look and maybe it will be a trend soon!
Tis the season for weddings. We have 9 weddings in June, 2 of which are destination. This couple was willing to do anything. On the night of the wedding we went to take pictures by the pool, we knew they were going to jump but the family didn’t. It is times like that I wish we did video because Matt’s mom had a great reaction! She knew they were going to “trash the dress” but didn’t know it was the actual dress. Of course we went out the next day and did a trash the dress with a different dress as well. This wedding took place inside a church with beautiful architecture and statues. The wedding was followed by a reception with wonderful decorations including an ambulance with working lights on the groom’s cake.
