My little sister graduated high school. Makes me feel old and now the parents are left with an empty nest. What to do now? Guess that will leave them more time to come visit the oldest in the great state of Texas. I love you baby sister and wish you all the success in the world.
Photos for Totos was this weekend and I have to say the pets that came brought their game faces. We did photos of pets for anyone who came in to the studio and asked that they brought donations for the animal shelter. Now we are running a contest. The winner of the contest gets a gift basket and a free portrait session. So please VOTE on your favorite pet photo below. So that it is fair, you must register in order to vote so you can only vote once and for only 1 pet. Voting ends on May 17th at midnight and winner will be announced May 18th.

We are having a contest to win our fusion photography session. What the heck is fusion you are probably asking yourself. It is photo+video and it ROCKS. You can see it on our blog if you just scroll down a bit and look you will see videos you can play to get an idea of what it is.
Here are the details:
Enter your ideas by May 7th. 1 entry per person. Each entry should include an idea for your fusion video. Maybe you want to make a music video, or maybe you want to show a day in the life of you. There are endless possibilities so be cre8tive and have fun. Make sure to tell a story and give details. I will be posting the top 3 on my blog to get voted on by everyone else. So make sure it is unique to gain my interest but also that it can win votes by others who will be voting.
I would love for you to send a picture as well that I can place on my blog for those voting. I am a visual person and think with photos it will help readers relate to your idea if they can put a face to it.

We did another show that looked amazing that I wanted to share.
We have snow babies and they had fun playing in the snow so of course I went out and took pictures. Aren’t they pretty? Skyler (all white) 3 years old and Kiara (black and white) 6 years old. They aren’t as innocent as they look!
Are you a high school senior or soon to be a high school senior? We are looking for what we call senior reps to model for us for advertising purposes. All of our senior reps get a free photography session in return for being our advertising agents. To enter e-mail me your name, age, year you plan to graduate high school, school name, and anything about your personality that makes you unique.
We moved our studio to Plano, TX. We had an open house with tons of sweets, we had our photobooth (which we now will offer for rent for weddings and events) and made a scrapbook of the photobooth pictures for the memories. Our sweets included a candy buffet, popcorn that was red and black, and an awesome cake that looked just like our camera. We had Jones Soda with our pictures on the label. We had about 50 amazing people stop by to check out the new space. We can not thank everyone enough for all of your support. Here are some pictures for those that could not make it (and yes I really am holding the camera cake that was later shoved in my face for some good photo booth action shots).
Today is the last day the studio is open for 2009. I want to say THANK YOU to all my amazing clients. With out you I wouldn’t be able to capture such wonderful memories and doing something I truly love. Reflecting back on 2009 it was such an amazing journey. We moved into our first studio instead of working from home. We had around 50 weddings this year (AMAZING). We attended photography conferences and met some amazing photographers. Most importantly we met some great friends and people we will always hold close to our hearts. Without these people we wouldn’t have been able to grow the way that we did.
Looking forward into 2010 we are getting a new studio that is retail and a much better location. Plano here we come a knockin and a rockin. We are attending more photography conferences. We will meet more great people and make more amazing friends.

Alright so here are pictures of our albums. Our ROCKIN albums at that. With the internet and all sometimes I don’t ever get to meet with clients so I wanted to be able for them to see the albums. This is our Guest sign in book. It is so much fun because you can have your guests sign more than their name such as Words of Advice. The pages are thinner than our flush mount. What better way to display your engagement pictures for your guests and having a great guest book.
This is a sample of one of our fabric albums. Pearl Weave. This is a 8×8 album 20 sides. Great example of the awesome binding and the thick pages.
This is an example of our cool leather. There is multiple colors but isn’t the yellow fun? Also a wood cameo on the front cover with an inset picture. This will show a bit of our awesome design work with cool patterns and neat backgrounds.
This is another fabric cover. Brushed Metallic with a metal cameo. 10×10 with 20 sides. Again showing our awesome artistic flair that makes these albums really stand out.
This is a photo wrap cover. The photo wraps the whole way around the album with writing on the spine. These pictures show both the front and back of the album. This album is a monster 12×12 with 40 sides.
This album cover is piano wood. Isn’t that cool? You know the black grand pianos, that is what the cover is made of. Cool huh? It is bound with brown leather and is a 10×10 20 sides. You can see an image across the whole page making the photo really pop.
This is an acrylic cover on a 12×12 with 30 sides, bound with black leather. You can see more of our photos/design work showing our attention to detail.
